Apple has released few minutes ago a new update for iPhone. The software raises the terminal to version 3.1.2, weighs about 240 MB and is compatible with all models of the terminal and iPod touch.

The patch applies the following fixes and improvements:

* Fixes an intermittent problem that could cause the iPhone does not leave the resting state.
* Solve a problem that disrupts the network services until you restart the terminal.
* Addresses an issue with streaming video.

Simply connect your iPhone to iTunes, select the terminal and click on Check for Update. Do not forget to have hand back up your data, and remove your SIM card from your iPhone for the duration of the operation.

StripGenerator is a website from which you can, without having to know anything about graphic design or anything, create your own comic strips, with a fairly professional skill.

Some time ago I was looking for something like this, I knew I should have something online to do some comics, but there was to it.

One thing to keep in mind is that each strip can only have 3 bullets at most, but okay, it doesn't matter, you can make it threes and make a strip as long as you like.

If you are a paranormal lover you need to read this...

Today we will talk about the strange creature that some students found in Panama a few days ago and has already been called Gollum.
Gollum was found in Cerro Azul by four teenagers whose ages range from 14 to 16 years.

The story goes something like this: The teenagers were having a fun time near a cave and suddenly (as they have), this strange creature emerged from the cave itself, situated behind the famous (presumably) "Cerro Azul".

When they saw his appearance was frightening and the stranger began to climb the rocks and headed for one of they.

It seems that the alien was so weird, not the usual alien all we know (Very intelligent and with high mental skills), because he/she didn't know any language to defend themselves when the four friends embarked with stones with him.

As expected, after throwing stones and sticks, the alien / supernatural creature / rare animal died. Just in case, they threw the "Gollum" to the water and then ran as a soul by the devil.

The largest and best known of the Internet has managed to patent the his home page. The blank page with the company logo in the center, preceded by the search bar, links and a Google Search button and I'm feeling lucky, have already been patented and therefore has the rights graphical user interface for displaying a screen of a communications terminal according to the document reproduced at page Gawker.

After five and a half struggling to patent their minimalist home page has finally succeeded. Google had fewer problems when it comes to patent the design of its search results as it was presented simultaneously to the Patent and Trademark Office U.S. in 2004 and the latter obtained the patent in 2006.

The vice president of search products and user experience at Google, Marissa Ann Mayer, has already signed, so now to be seen whether Google will use its patent against competitors with similar format as Ask or Yahoo!.

Windows or Linux - Differences and advantages.

Linux, unlike Windows, is a true multitasking system, and multiuser, has a security scheme based on users and permissions to read, write and execute set to files and directories. This means that each user owns their files, and another user can not access these files. This property does not permit the spread of virus between files of different users. One difference, perhaps most important of all, with respect to any commercial operating system, is the fact that it is free software, what does this mean? which together with the system, you can get the source code for any part of it and modify it to taste so you can create your own modifications and if you have a deep and good knowledge about programation you could make your own distro! - This provides several advantages, for example:

1- The security of knowing what makes a program just viewing the source code, or failing that, be assured that the code be available, nobody is going to add "hidden features" in the programs it distributes.

2- The freedom that provides the GPL allows any programmer to modify and improve any part of the system, this results in quality software in GNU / Linux is very good.

3- The fact that the system is maintained by a large community of developers and users around the world, provides high speed of response to program errors that are discovered, that no commercial software company can match.

Besides the advantages listed above, GNU / Linux is ideal for use in a work environment, two reasons justify this:

* Being free software, there is the cost of licenses, and a copy of the GNU / Linux can be installed on as many computers as needed.

* There are utilities for work in office, which is compatible with MS-Office.

-But a greatest difference with WINDOWS is his usability, when you use windows:
1- You can perform actions with a simple click, in the other hand you need to write some lines with Linux, a good example is the installation of some software, if you are new on Linux it would be a little difficult.
2- The availability of programs, this is a big difference, so you cannot find programs for Linux as well as Windows.
So how I said before, the final decision is yours.
